About Me

Who am I?

I am a wife and mom who loves to travel with her family. I love the outdoors and adventures but with a cozy and clean room at night.  I especially love the mountains but can get star struck by big city lights and a lively vibe. Living in the Southeast US we have a lot of great nearby adventures.

I am always working towards trying to be: real, grateful, relatable, humble, faithful, and generous.

Why am I doing this?

I love to feel excited about.... what’s next? But more than that I want to evolve Tripp Planner into a tool that I can use to document travels for my family, to have as memories to one day share with their families. I want to journal travels and how experiences have helped me grow in my faith in our Lord. I also want to bring back things I have learned in other cultures. Simple things like taking the time to enjoy a meal together which promotes relationships, healthy digestion, and a better quality of life! What if, more people traveled and brought back something positive and impactful to spread in their communities? A small change in how we live our lives can set in motion bigger changes for the next generation to cultivate.

I want to inspire regular people to travel and to not wait to take their families, encourage them to break out of their comfort zone and learn why new experiences are valuable.

I want to help others create a memorable trip and reduce the stress that often scares people away from trying something new.

I want to fund my travels so I can keep creating inspiration and helping others, as well as being able to continue to grow and work on myself through new experiences.

What is my travel style?

Not too simple, not budget travel. Not too fancy, not luxury travel. Just in the middle of reality.

I don’t specialize in any specific style, I believe in experiencing all of the different ways there are to travel. I love them all, an all-inclusive beach resort, a cabin in the mountains, an ocean cruise liner, a train through the Rocky Mountains, a boutique room downtown, or a chain hotel room outside of the city. I like each unique adventure. I have the most personal experience with Norwegian Cruise Lines, Caribbean islands, National Parks, the continental US, Iceland, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, and many of the domestic and global Hotel brands
